Who would you keep?

Ceedee Lamb - 3rd Rd Keeper
Breece Hall - 7th Rd Keeper

Half PPR 10 man league. I draft 10th since I won the league.
You get the player at the round drafted previous year.

Also have Walker in the 14th that I was locked in on until Charbonnet was drafted. Now I’m so low on him that I like my other two options more.

Lamb mostly because of the unknown with breece coming off injury and I’d imagine most of the other elite WRs will be kept

Fwiw I think people are reacting way too strongly to Charbonnet being there

It boils down to me rather having lamb or Breece on my team. Walker will have value and is still a great keeper at 14 but has a significantly low ceiling with Charbonnet healthy. Charbonnet is arguably better in both the red zone and pass game than Walker. It will be a 1-2 punch with Walker and Charbonnet. Hall and Lamb both have much higher ceilings.

He hasn’t played a down in the NFL

Walker has and looked really damn good, the assumption that Charbonet is just going to walk right into a legit time share is presumptuous. Also considering pass blocking is the hardest transition from the college to the NFL, charbonet will have to prove he can pass protect before getting the passing down work

Lamb is still the proper pick, just venting on the Walker slide.

I’m not keeping Walker. My decision doesn’t have anything to do with his own talent. He is a good back and has home run ability. My concern is how good Zach charbonnet is and was a 2nd rd investment. I would be absolutely shocked if he didn’t get at least 40% of workload share by the end of the first half of the season. In addition, he is a legit bonafide risk to supplant Walker as the 1A in the backfield at anytime. I get he hasn’t played a down in the nfl but rbs typically adapt quickly in the nfl. Charbonnet was much better in pass protection coming out of college. Two areas where Walker struggled his rookie year was pass protection and red zone efficiency. It is expected that Char will be better in those situations.

I could be wrong but in my opinion he just isn’t worth wasting my keeper on when I have better options available. Too much risk there.

Lamb is about 1.5 rds of value, Hall is about 4 rds of value, Walker is about 9 rds of value.

Hall is the highest ceiling player, especially down the stretch. I would personally take Hall in this scenario because of the highest ceiling player.

Walker is by far your best value. If the drafters in your league are weak then Id take Hall. If it’s very competitive then hard to pass up 9 rds of value with Walker. Walker crushed last 8 wks of the season last year, Charbonnet is very very likely to be pretty good and to absorb nearly all of the reception value, but Walker is very good player and hits homeruns so that could make up for it.

Good league - take Walker

Mediocre league - take Hall

Walker at 14 easily. I know you said you don’t want him, but to me keepers are all about value over adp.
