They have a good deviled egg appetizer and a solid pulled pork sandwich.

Went with some coworkers a month or so ago, we split the pitmaster platter and was very impressed with the meat and cauliflower. The sides were forgettable.

That menu is pretty wild, I’m intrigued.

Rolled right in to the line at La Barbecue yesterday after dropping our stuff off at the hotel. The concept of a barbecue place having a Michelin star is pretty wild to me, but it didn’t disappoint. Brisket was absolutely world class

The one time I had it, it was so salty it felt like I was eating a salt lick. I’ll have to try it again

Terry Black’s was also very, very good. Food quality, slight nod to La Barbecue, overall experience, slight nod to TB.
Have reservations for white tablecloth Mexican, Suerte, for dinner tomorrow, it too looks pretty legit, but still going to try and squeeze KG in at some point before we fly out Wednesday.

Valentina’s was damn good the last time I went up there.

Also a big fan of Smittys, but that’s down in Lockhart

Agree (even though I last ate at Terry Black's in '20 and LA BBQ before that).

If you get tired of "BBQ" (I mean... does that ever happen), Loro is excellent (and does have BBQ). Collab between Aaron Franklin and Tyson Cole (Uchi).
