I have heard mixed reviews of this place, but holy hell I’d go just for this.

Company Burger will do since it’s close to the dome if that is what you are looking for. Certainly pretty good, but there is a ceiling for burgers in Nola. I’d probably head away from the dome but stay close and hit Cochon Butcher.

Not really New Orleans, but Desi Vegas Burger in Harahan has awesome burgers.

Desi’s downtown has the burger on the lunch menu.

Port O Call uses artificial bacon bits... nuff said

I was walking into Port of Call and was coming from the back kitchen entrance. Looked in and saw about 100 premade hamburger buns with lettuce, tomato, onions just stacked up on baking sheets. If that's your thing, by all means go to Port of Call for their burger.

Now, if you are going for the drinks!!!!
I'll drink Monsoons until it isn't safe for me to get off the stool.

Company Burger, if I’m looking for a casual burger joint. High Hat is also good, but not nearly as convenient.

I used to say Cowbell, but I was pretty underwhelmed last time I had it.

Don't care. Potatoes and burgers are awesome.

Dr. Tan burger is amazing. I need to try the wings. I can handle hot, but Carolina Reaper wings may be pushing the limit.

Maybe it's not the best in the city anymore because there are so many other options these days. But there's something about sitting at the round table in the back with friends, eating and drinking and then trying to split the bill ourselves because they won't split the bill for you!

Agreed. It is a terrible burger and owes it's reputation to strong drinks and no competition.

The burger quality has gone downhill as well.

This!!!

Second choice by a mile is a burger and monsoon at Port O’Call. If you can’t enjoy that then I’m I’m not interested in your opinion on burgers or frankly anything else.

The Beachcorner, hands down. Company burger is lame and fried on a griddle, bfd.

Not close. That simply demonstrates poor taste in burgers.
