Always heard people talk about Mary B’s
Bought some for Christmas morning, they never got any bigger, barely got brown & we’re hard & dry
Luckily I had a box of Jiffy biscuit mix so we could have breakfast before opening presents
Had this happen before... contacted the company and they said that is caused by the product thawing and then refreezing it. It wasn't me because they went straight from Walmart to the deep freezer at the house before they were cooked...
They sent me a coupon for a free bag...never had an issue with them since

Frozen Grands. Can cook one or two at a time instead of opening a whole can.
Can cook in an air fryer

Frozen Grands. I cook mine in a cast iron skillet in the oven with a thin layer of butter across the bottom. Game changer.

I've cooked them in the air fryer, and they are okay, but they turn out better if baked in the big oven in a cast iron skillet.
In my experience, the air fryer ones come out dryer. I'll still do it sometimes when in a hurry or don't want to heat up the kitchen when it's 100 outside.

The frozen in a bag Pillsbury southern style. That's the closest I've ever tasted to a homemade biscuit
Exactly my thoughts. These are the closest thing to homemade that I have had

I don’t know about biscuits, but for rolls sister Schubert is the way to go

Mary B's for several years then I noticed they wouldn't rise like they used to so I went with Pillsbury southern style.
I tried Great Value too. They were as good as Mary B's but I'm now solid for Pillsbury.
