I want to know if ANYONE has actually had this "nitwit" beer.

I keep hearing its awesome, but i've not met one person who's had it.

Man, that's bullshite, lol.

I LOVE that place. Food is awesome. The bruschetta(sp?) is a badass appertizer.

And I'm a big fan of there pizza. The meat lovers and the BBQ pizza rule.

I live in Orlando and the one here always has good service, and they have a HUGE big screen with a bunch of "smaller" big TVs surrounding it.

I went once and it was ok. I got a stuffed potato but I think I should have tried the pizza.

I agree, the food was just ok. We got a sandwich. I'll go back though and try their pizzas...The dude waiting on us took forever to get us something to drink.

We went Saturday night. We waited about an hour for a table. While we were waiting the hostesses brought out pizza for everyone to snack on while we waited. Once we were seated the service wasn't bad especially considering how busy they were. We weren't very impressed by the food. It reminded me a lot of Bennigan's. The atmosphere was very nice and our bill was very reasonable. I will go back but I won't go out of my way.

took forever for them to split up the check.

This can be a deadly task for most.

I have come to the conclusion to never ask for this again.....anywhere.

Simple division and allocation scares some.

I think you people are insane to be waiting for an hour or two just to eat at this place.
With the service issues I am reading, I am going to give this place a good six months to get their crap together before I make a visit.

My wife, some friends and I just hit up one of the locations in the Denver area. We had the same experience, loved the food and had a terrible waiter. I asked him what beer was the most requested, his response "theyre all good", I asked him what was recommended from the menu and his response "everything is good". He was about 72.

The nitwit is by far their best beer in my opinion but I generally like belgium styles.

Service there is hit and miss. Our server was too persistent at first but as soon as he got all his tables full it was hard to get our check so we could leave.

The food there is decent. I have only had the pizza which is what they specialize in. Its not really a chicago style pizza like they claim but its fresh tasting and a pretty good deep dish pizza. I do like the beer sampler 5.50 for 4 5oz tastings.

We got it on our first trip there, and it really was pretty good. We went back the next night so my friend's brother (who had been out of town) could try the beers, and they were sold out of NitWit then. I've tried all of their own different brews out right now, and it was my favorite. It is a seasonal, though, so it will be rotated out for something else once the fall comes around.

As for food, between the wife and myself I've tried the pot roast (which was pretty good), the meatloaf (which was good), and two different chicken dishes (both of which were not good at all .. extremely bland, and overcooked to toughness both times). My friends have gotten two different pizzas (both of which were good), a chicken sandwich (not good), and another sandwich (maybe brisket?) that was pretty good. We've tried a couple different appetizers, too... the spring rolls were good, the onion strings were too greasy for regular eating but decent drunk food, the caesar salad was decent (but they are always different from place to place), and the clam chowder in the sourdough bread was pretty good but very filling.

Same sentiment about the service repeated here. Once Bravo opens up the wait for a table should go down somewhat, but the actual wait staff is going to need to step up their game some to keep people coming back.

I would jump off a bridge before managing that food inventory and all those employees.

Do 90% of your posts include the "Just another grunt shack" statement? Have you learned any other words yet?

I walked out after placing a drink order and getting nothing for over 30 minutes... This looks just like a Kona grill type deal here also though... 1000 items on the menu and no identity.

they are struggling with the wait service .. that's for sure .. it really is hit or miss ... i just don't understand how restaurants turn waiting tables into rocket science ..
