About that Ohtani performance we discussed the other night the single greatest regular season offensive performance in the history of MLB.
To put it into.perspective, he:
Had 6 hits in a game - that's been done before...
Had 5 extra base hits in a game - also done before
10 rbi in a game - done before
3 home runs in a game - done before
2 stolen bases in a game - done before
Obtani did all of those things in the same game, which has never been done before. The really amazing stat is that no player in history has ever done all of those things in their entire career. Let that sink in...
