Love me some Java Stout. I'd take it over any of Prairie's high acclaimed stouts any day.

FBD

This is just an awesome post 95+ degree yardwork beer.

FBD: Mad Fritz The Fool and the Cart. Really good. Going to a tour of the brewery later.

FBD was homebrewed coffee porter alongside Rêve coffee stout at Parish. Happy to say it stood up to Rêve and got complimented on it by Andrew. He said this batch of Rêve doesn't have any vanilla in it, whereas the first one did. Need to figure out logistics of adding enough vanilla to a 30bbl batch. He said cleanup was already a bitch with just the coffee grounds.

Then had a pour of the new Opus. Delicious.

No pics of either because I was lame.

Back home, had an Urban South Delta Momma and Holy Roller. Both are super solid. They are starting to dial in Holy Roller. It's better than the April batch I had. Helps that it was canned Wednesday.

This Hop D was 6/6, which is surprising because I found it at the Rosenburg Specs which is typical horrible at keeping even semi fresh hops on their shelves.

Bingle & 10 Specs and Bunker Hill HEB were the 2 I was talking about. I'll keep an eye out for devil's juice.
