Just go to a real place next time.

I don't think his party would have been welcome.

I don't think I'll ever be able to look at a Joe's Crab Shack again without thinking "right inside there, there are people eating salad with their fingers." So thanks for that.

Joes is a sad excuse for a seafood restaurant. Shite it would have been cheaper and twice as good of food at Sammys.

Joe's Crab Shack sucks. haven't been there in years for the reasons everyone lists. Overpriced, not enough food, service sucks.

Might I suggest next time around you go to Commanders Sunday Brunch, or, TJ Ribs on Acadia, per Rag...

That's true - if you're having brunch in the courtyard, your waitress can dance right there without having to go to another spot in the restaurant!

Sounds like most of the complaints had nothing to do with the restaurant itself. I'm not defending Joe's, but you know what you're getting into there. I've been once in the past 5 years, and got one of their steam pots. It wasn't bad, keeping in mind that you're eating at Joe's Crab Shack.

But it sounds like you wouldn't have had a good night anywhere you went with that group.

I helped open the siegen location way back in the day.

Dirtiest and most unsanitary restaurant I've ever worked in.

I've never been to Red Lobster but I always hear that the biscuits are MONEY.

I am doubtful anything at Joe's other than leaving is MONEY.

This thread proves that up to this point.

I've been to Joe's a few times at The Boardwalk. the first time was awful. The waitress forgot to put in our order so it was 1:15 minutes until we got our food. folks from my shop go there once a month or so for lunch. We never have any issues. I've only gotten a big bucket once and that was in Colorado Springs. it was good.

I'm not anti-chain like most people here.

I'm not remotely anti-chain but the one time I went the experience was horrific.

Oh, by the way, since it was my birthday the damn waiter kept trying to force me to get up on the table and sing. I asked him to leave me the frick alone.

He finally gave up on me singing on top of the damn table, but then he put a fricking bucket on my head.

How in the F does the place retain customers. I know some people like that shite but when asked to stop....STOP!

I hate the place and hope they all implode.

You should be shot for eating at a place like this if you live in La. We have so many great places that are serving local seafood that taste fantastic and is probably cheaper than Joes Crap Shack.
