Hogs for the Cause is an incredible group. They took care of my family when my daughter was going through treatment 2 years ago. This will be the first year were able to go to the actuate event and we are super excited let Olivia meet all the guys who were so generous to us.

That's awesome

I'm hearing the flooding everywhere is getting quite bad. This sucks. I'm worried that getting there will be difficult. Now the wifey is stating she doesn't want to go

weatherundergound has it at 100% rain until 5pm and then 50% until 11. This isn't looking good.

What are the chances of them cancelling tonight completely?

Damn. This really sucks. The amount of money being lost by the participants along with all the proceeds that won't reach the charity is very depressing. There's still tomorrow, but I don't see how whatever happens then will make up for tonight's losses

Need to start using a new location that isn't as flood-prone.

You think this will drain for tomorrow? I'm unfamiliar with the area as far as flooding goes.

Not sure, but I wouldn't expect it to drain much. I think tomorrow will suffer lower crowds as well, but hopefully with no rain there will still be a solid showing.

That's one of those suggestions that seems a lot easier said than done when you consider the logistics required to put on an event like this.
