I've been wanting to try that Drew Estate Norteno.
Where do you guys buy your cigars? I buy online from time to time. Cigar Daily, and Cigar International.
But for most part it is local B&M stores. Habanos in Slidell is good, Total Wine in Mandeville is OK, Acquistapace's in Mandeville only if I'm in there.
Hammond has a new place across from Red White and Brew. I think they are still growing.
Pass Cigar in Pass Cristian Ms is a great lil place.
The Cigar Lounge in Old Towne Slidell is OK.
Any Northshore or Baton Rouge area suggestions ?

I will report back after I smoke it. For some reason the Drew Estate Undercrown has been hard to find at the shop I go to.
I haven't ordered any from Cigar International, but they have two shops close to my house. I like there selection but I try to support the local shops. There is a great shop in Grapevine on Main St and there is one down the street from my office in Plano. Those are usually my go to spots.
Went with this one and some Old Elk tonight.

Over the last few weeks, I've been getting into cigars. Working in sales in the Houston area, I get to stop by a bunch of different places around town. Any suggestions for shops in that area? Got to spend the afternoon at Stogie's yesterday knocking out some work on the laptop while enjoying a R&J Reserva Real. Plan to find myself somewhere to do that again today.

R&J has been quality since practically forever. My Father and CAO are probably my favorite brands that are regularly available at brick and mortar retailers.

Anyone wary of A 20box of cohiba ted dots for 100 online?
I love those things but don’t care if they are bad quality.

What site? I think Cohibas are overrated as hell.

I’ve never heard of them. Their website gives me Chinese knockoff market in India sort of vibes

I’ve never ordered from them either, but they seem legit. Pretty good prices.

JR Cigars is legit. Great selection. Competitive online prices. Delivery got much, much better when they ditched the USPS in favor of UPS. What used to take a week for delivery now takes 3 days for the base delivery fee. Their bundles are now usually shipped with a boveda to help prevent dryness. Famous-smoke.com is also a good alternative online retailer that I have experience with. Their smokes tend to be a tad dried out sometimes though.
Edit to add that famous usually has a better selection of padron over JR, if that’s your thing.

I’m going to give JRCigars a try on my next order. They have some well priced samplers.

sometimes they have free sample bundles with orders over $100

JR Burlington, I believe I read, is the largest humidor in the world. The entire building is under cigar-friendly climate control, and it is MASSIVE.
JR has been the largest retailer for decades, I am guessing that in the last ten or so years, CI is giving them a run for their money. I have not ordered from JR in years, I was going to a few months ago, but they required a drivers' license scan to do business. Thank you, no.
I will stick with Cigar King, Famous, Holt's and CI
