I think Papa Murphy's is the dumbest idea ever but I guess some people disagree since they keep expanding.

the "you kill the live chicken & we'll fry it for you" place on florida blvd gets my vote for the dumbest place.

after our 8th visit there, we decided that our killing technique was cruel & inhumane so we stopped going, but mainly it was because they didn't season the chicken very well.

I've always agreed. It's not like you go there when you're grocery shopping..
and if I want to grab food out, I certainly don't wanna drive to get it, bring it home, wait for it to cook, etc.

But I guess people love it
I guess I understand people getting it on their way home from work.

FWIW, they use fresh ingredients and the pizza is good quality. I just find the concept inconvenient. You have to really like it for the work involved

I find the concept very convenient. I will pick up a pizza or two while I'm out and throw them in the oven 15 minutes before I want it. I rarely make a special trip to get Papa Murphy's, but it's right next door to the supermarket I shop at.

It's better pizza than any frozen pizzas you find, and better than most delivery pizza - certainly hotter right out of the oven.

My problem with delivery is the inconsistency of the timing of the delivery. I've waited an hour and a half for the local Pizza Hut to deliver a cold pizza.

Exactly why we choose them as well. They're better than delivery and XXtimes better than grocery store. Cheaper than anything I care to eat. Convenient in and out on the way home, and you have hot, fresh pizza less than 15 minutes later. Don't even have to dirty a pan.
