How many calories
I'm honestly notcounting calories. I'm eating the same foods i always have eaten. Just eating less of it. Where I would normally eat 4pieces of chicken, I now eat just 2. If it's something like jambalaya, i eat a small bowl instead of a large bowl. I took a que from 12 yr old. She stops eating when she is no longer hungry. Instead of loading up a plate and forcing herself to eat it all.
It's early in the game right now but 4 lbs in 2 weeks seems like a good start.
I'm also walking a total of 8 miles a day.

I will be honest with you friend, this is a mistake. When you take the time to really understand exactly what you are putting in your body, amazement will set in. You can't know what NOT to eat until you know exactly what you ARE eating. Elementary.
Best of luck in any event.

I've been down that road. It just hasn't worked for me. Sooner or later, I end up going back to eating the foods i like. This way. I eat the foods i like just less of them. It may work, it may fail. But, the other ways failed too so, we'll see how it works out.

I guess that depends on which side of the fence you sit on.

Weighed in this morning at 232.4/230.2. Didn't count my calories yesterday but didn't eat like crap. No gym, need to go today.

So Cad, remember that "restaurant" we talked about in Nashville several months ago... A question or two:
How was the overall presentation?
How was the food?
How was the ambiance?
How was the place setting?
What was your overall rating?

Getting nervous about Thanksgiving since it appears my stupid body retains every ounce of everything I eat.
T-Giving could get ugly.
Oh well, off to walk.

No doubt if the thread is still alive on Jan 2, 2011 it will blow up.
Feeling great this week. Keeping the calories in check.

I'm pretty leery about T-Giving myself. I have zero power to control myself around cornbread stuffing and turkey with gravy. Or my sisters spinach dip.

I'm going all out on Thanksgiving, just at the family meal though.

I don't know guys, methinks I can say no this year. Have been around quite a few tailgates this year and was able to eat but in moderation. Maybe its just because I am in the romance stage of my diet. (oops I said the four letter word)

I will weigh in today at 5. I'm thinking I will have a gain.
I ate more Halloween candy than I should have but still not as much as previous years.
