Has anyone used these? I’ve been curious and thought about getting some. My question is, what does the smoke flavor taste like? Does it give the meat a charcoal flavor? Or a smoke flavor like other wood pellets?

I've run two bags of them with various meats. Chicken, Pork, and a beef chuck roast. I wasn't impressed or disappointed. Not really sure I'd recommend them over some of the premium brand blends.

Same. I have tended just to stick with Apple or Pecan wood. My wife does not like a heavy smoke taste, so I tend toward the mild flavors.

This is better than just the straight charcoal pellet they make if you can find it…however it’s not any better than say Bear Mountain or B&B.
