Just saw their Google page show they're closed permanently and we had gone a few weeks ago. Can't say I'm surprised no one is buying a pint of ice cream for $15.

It’s a great concept in theory but I did wonder if it would work outside of a tourist area. Ice cream shops seem like a tough business model.

I went once. It was overpriced for what it is. And rent in that location is very expensive.

I didn't care for the styrofoam cups that you can buy at Sam's. At least have your own branded cups like Baskin-Robbins. And Hershey's for your ice cream is subpar quality when compared to other places that do something similar as The Yard Milkshake.

Place was a freaking ripoff. I can see how they stay in business in Destin or other touristy places but not here. Just a matter of time before they closed.

Went once. Almost $100 for 5 of us. That's way too expensive for ice cream.

Yeah, Andy's right down the road is better anyway. Location sucked too since they were way in the back corner of that shopping center. Also doesn't help that we tried to go at 8:30 on a Saturday once and they were closed already.

Who thought it was a good idea to open a $15 milkshake spot in one of the poorest areas of the country?
