I admired her passion for the kitchen.

No info on cause of death yet.

I always liked her. I'm sorry to read this. She was young.

Yep, not a great sign.

For those of us just a notch above that in age, I look forward to more information about life decisions or even the nature of genetic lottery.

Fantastic chef, who was a beast in competitions. Loved her show that was just her in the kitchen.

Damn shame. Anne was a good soul. Taught my brother at ICE. I am not that surprised by her untimely death, however.

I believe she has stated several times , that she dealt with substance abuse issues as well as mental health issues in the past … I very much could be wrong but I believe that’s what he was referring to .

So did I. She very clearly knew what she was doing/talking about.

Brown food tastes goooooood!!!! Slices, sticks and dices. She was good at teaching cooking techniques to amateurs. Really liked all her shows and still use some of her recipes. RIP

Perhaps so. Her death has been ruled a suicide which is so very sad. She seemed to be so happy with her marriage and doing the improv.

" Burrell died by suicide, PEOPLE can confirm. Her cause of death is specified as "acute intoxication due to the combined effects of diphenhydramine, ethanol, cetirizine, and amphetamine," and was determined by the New York City medical examiner's office. Diphenhydramine and cetirizine are antihistamines, ethanol is a compound found in alcohol and amphetamine is commonly used to treat ADHD.

Her family declined PEOPLE's request to comment."

Doesn’t necessarily mean it was intentional if I’m reading that right?
Or would they have said accidental OD?

This makes me sad

She appeared to have true talent in the kitchen, unlike many of the personalities littering food television.
