one time i went to the mcdonalds right by the corner of claiborne and louisiana in NOLA around midnight. for some reason they had a retarded guy working the second drive through window, the one where you pick up your food. it was fricking ridiculous, we waited in line for about 40 minutes behind ONE car. i was pissed at first then when we got to the window and i realized he was handicapped i calmed down. watched him try to fix our drinks and get the correct amount of french fries was just sad. i felt bad for the guy. we ended up with some extra food, which was totally accidental, but it definitely wasn't worth the wait.

I quit going to Frostop on Government for a while because of the staff screaming at the customers. If they called your number and you didn't get their attention within a millisecond they'd start screaming. Then when the customer would walk up they'd scream, "Didn't you hear me call your number?" After watching them get into it with two guys I left and didn't go back for a year. The last time I went in they were civil, so I'll give them another chance. The kid that runs the register is always cool.

The Pizza Hut in Algiers-
#1) Wife orders pizza they tell her it would be 1 1/2 hour for delivery. So she sends me to pick it up. I walk in and go to the counter, a woman employee walks to the counter answers the phone and says please hold. She then calls her babysitter and says I'm getting off early and can pick up her kid. She then hangs up, grabs her purse and leaves.
I'm standing there like WTF? I'm here and someone is on hold. I stand there the only customer in the store for close to 10 minutes. A driver shows up grabs another pizza and leaves again. The phone is ringing, no one is answering the phone. Finally, I see the manager in back of the store cursing at another employee about folding boxes. I try to get her attention- no luck.
So I walk behind the counter and grab both of my pizzas, which has been sitting on the rack and place it on the counter. Still no body in sight.
So I left with the pizzas.

I was home visiting the folks last year and decided to try Raising Canes because they were appearing everywhere and everybody said the sauce was great. Worst chicken and fries I ever had in my life. Couldn't even eat it. Give me KFC anyday over that. Went to the one on Highland by campus. Never again.

Having had so many bad experiences, I just go in expecting the worst. Nothing suprises me any more other than my amazement that our country can continue to exist when you realize how many people are out there like the tards that work in fast food.
I did have a more interesting than usual experience at a McDonalds in Avondale a few years ago. The white manager was having a hard time getting his crew to do their job during the lunch rush. At first he just yelled to the back for the two burger prep guys to quit goofing off and start working. A few minutes later the dude just went ape shite crazy. This face turned red and he started screaming and cussing at the two guys. Said they weren't going to have a party on his watch and told one of them to get the fck out. The manager took his place back there.
A few of the old black men in line around me started looking at me funny. One of them said if any white guy had ever yelled at him like that, they would have to call the cops and shut the restaurant down because there would be some problems in that kitchen.
The guy that was told to leave was sitting out in the parking lot when I left. He was telling people he was going to wait for the manager and kick his arse in the parking lot when he got off.

That is what I was thinking. If you are in a Burger King and using a coupon, you lose all right to complain about what kind of service you get.

He must've been from corporate or something, he told me how to place my order so that I'd get the best chance of getting it filled correctly. In other words, "we employ morons here, so here's the code you should use so that they can figure out what you want."
