Yea, I've been robbing that city blind. What sir, is that your hot dog on the bench next to you? Dibs.
Good day shop keep. Time for you to die, and take your stuff.
I've had some of my favorite dialogue moments between Booker and Elizabeth while I'm just exploring. First woman ever to find me money

Also, sold my roommate on the game too. He isn't a big gamer, and had no knowledge of this game. He walks into the room, I am getting lit up riding on a monorail. I finally am able to get to cover, still under a ridiculous amount of bullets.
Roommate asks: "what is lighting your arse up?"
Me: "it's fricking George Washington"
Instantly he sits down and watches the rest of the night

I set it to hard level. Is that going to be a mistake?

Meh, I'm on medium, and don't die very much, build up that shield and you'll be fine.

Haha.
J murdah is a Jeff too. Cool guy.
Anyways, blitzed... I do not know. My thoughts are:
There are better video cards than the one you got. If the one you got could run a brand new game on Ultra, why would anyone get a more expensive card.
I imagine these 500 dollar cards exist for a reason... If a $250 card could do ultra, why go higher budget
But of course then there's 1080 and 1440... Hmm.. You should be able to do ultra at 1900x1200 on 1080.
However I really have no clue as I do not possess the game, that card, that processor, nor have read any benchmark reports
Glad I could help

If the first Bioshock did not grab my attention will this one?
I just wasn't a fan of a shooter that had no bullets at the beginning and it ruined the game for me. I'm sure it gets better later but I just couldn't get past the first hour.

You get a claw that smashes faces early on, + guns. It's great

I hear what ya saying regarding 1...
But they have changed things. There are guns now. And the world is... "better"
I mean the guy above just said he was in a shootout with George Washington on a monorail and ole George was frickin sprayin. I mean god damn this shite sounds fricking good

I'm lord of the crows up in this game. Killing fools with crows earns me more crows!

Bullets are much more plentiful, but there isn't that much action for the first 45 minutes to an hour, so maybe not.

Combat in Infinite is faster and more fluid. Not only is combat funner than it was in the original, it's maybe the funnest game I've played. The skylines are a complete blast.
Also, the only time I get the feeling that the game is rushing me is when I'm in a combat-heavy area, otherwise Liz is asking me to check the areas for supplies. Exploration is certainly encouraged.

Blitzed Bioshock Infinite thread Jeff, do you think i could run this at ultra? Im at very high right now and all is well.
I was running on ultra last night with a 7870 ghz edition. I was getting 60 FPS but haven't put myself in combat yet. If you have the 7870 xt you will be fine.

Apparently the ending to this game is supposed to be really good.

This plot is chock full of mindfricks.

I just started playing bioshock for the fifth time. Am I looking at a good time ahead?

I just beat 1 and 2 this week. Ended up really enjoying both of them. Story was superior in 1 but gameplay was a lot better in 2, IMO.
