This game feels janky as hell on performance mode on ps5.

I haven't exactly been seeking out info on console performance, but one thing I have noticed is that the "performance" mode on both consoles sounds like it looks unusually bad.

So far 30 fps feels better. Regardless of graphics mode, game still shits itself in cutscenes. Interested to see what the new patch does.

Havent been posting but ive been trying to play as thorough as possible. I just got to the part where you wake up the guy in the tank that was shown off in the trailer. Maybe its just me but I have had absolutely no tech issues on ps5 and this game is so much better than I thought it would be.
ETA I also started over to get the stim on the opening planet because if you miss it you cant get till near the end im told.
I also heavily advise anyone picking this up especially on higher difficulty levels to explore every single nook an cranny. It is my understanding theres 5 chapters and im just beginning chapter 3 I have 5 stims the dual wield tree almost all maxed mixed with life boost, heal boost, force boost. Theres the whole confusion mechanic which I wont go too far into but it has a whole tree of its own. This game is just packed with shite and in a good way. All the customization is cool, you can change individual facets of your lightsaber color and same with parts on BD. I dont wanna say much more maybe someone can start a spoiler thread. The perk system is neat but im just to the point where I can really mess with it.

Worst I have had on PS5 is when you load into the main hub tavern type of place it can take like 30 seconds for the door to open while you just stand there but maybe im just lucky everything else is smooth. I wanna talk about the game with people who are where I am at with it which is Merrins escort mission. Is anyone around there?

Made it to the 3rd planet doing some exploring but not everything. Had 1 crash so far with ~ 5-6 hours in. Still don’t care for the map but it’s not as painful as Fallen Order. The performance on PS5 hasn’t been the best but it’s not game breaking or anything. A bigger version of Fallen Order, improving on customization is the best way I can describe it.

Theyre uploading something called 1.000003 to my ps5 as we speak. Idk its hard to say if someone will like it more or less than fallen order. Its scope is much much much bigger. It tries to loop its story into star wars lore though not to a bad degree it deals mainly with high republic stuff. I like it a lot finally got blaster stance and rocking that with dual blade.
I would also say theres way more here than just customization. You can find skill points in the wild, health and force upgrades are one offs and not 1/3 of a piece like zelda, you can find platforming and combat challenges that earn you a skill point if you do them. YOu can bounty hunt, you can plant a garden on the top of your tavern, you can go off chasing rumors or where the side shite is or just blaze the story but its a lot different than fallen order. The combat is better too.
Just use a guide for the stims is the best advice I can give someone especially on hard or grandmaster. I estimate im about 60% done with main story progression with 6 stims so I have found 4 and 1 was directly on my path.
The map is also way better now. Absolutely no reason to bitch about (not calling you out just in general). Turn on navigation assist like I did and you can track a main quest and rumor at all times, you can use BD as binos and place beacons on far away places like breath of the wild. A yellow line shows where you have been walking and where you came from. etc etc.

Nice to hear. I tried over the weekend, but bailed after a few crashes on PC during the first level. I didn't really have any graphical issues. Just crashes.

Like you find random people and recruit them to your tavern I was main questing and just saved these people from one of the giant ape things they showed in the trailer and they run some kind a fighting board game mini game idk. There is A LOT of shite like that in this game if you like that kinda stuff which I happen to and it can all be done post game if you prefer to blaze the main story but it doesnt feel disconnected if you dont like in some other games. At least to the point im at but I have a feeling im very close to the big reveal high water mark of the 2nd act.

Love what they did to the map. It's 10x better than on Fallen Order. The ONLY thing I wish they would do is put a mini-map in the corner of the screen like in Hogwarts Legacy so I don't have to stop to pull up the big map so many times.
I've been playing on PS5 and outside of it being a tad glitchy at times, I've had zero issues or crashes.
Overall, love the game so far.
The damn frog and Rancor though....probably died 50 times between the two of them.

Im doing the moon level now. Idk how far you are into the game but i can just feel the huge second act reveal as I just picked up what some people would cannon call the 10th stim if you did all the temples on the main planet before the main story. Still have 7 in total. Rancor wasnt bad for me because I immediately found him got arse blasted, came back later stacked with health stims force dual blade and blaster stance 
I still cant figure out whats going on truly in this story and im fairly sure im getting around 75-80% done with the main part. Something has to drop soon. Im at the point where im about to get the final Kylo Ren stance.

I'm way behind you it sounds like. I just unlocked Jedha, but haven't gone there yet. I have 5 stims so far. I think the only one I missed was on Corusant. I've spent an insane amount of time on Koboh. I think I've done just about everything I can there up to this point.
I have a hard time leaving a boss battle without defeating them so I was stuck at Rancor and the frog for a WHILE

My advice is dont dick around too long on the main hub world head to jedha theres a lot of good upgrades there including the only stim in your game in the direct path you will ever take. Then you have two places to investigate one is back on the main planet and one is on the moon base thing idk what it is but yeah i just now got crossguard and assume an exposition dump is coming.
You also get blaster stance after finishing the main mission on jedha with best girl merrin as your group AI the whole time and blaster stance is fricking OP

You can also skim neo seeker for key words like tear rifts or really important shite to make sure you dont miss stuff on the smaller worlds because idk what all is and isnt returnable.

And the game actually takes your weapons away and makes you fight as crossguard for a few battles. They werent lying the swings are SLOW but hit like a ton of bricks. The issue is I am playing dual blades and blaster stance and perks set up for that one being if i parry someone i do more stamina damage to them but if i block or miss time the parry i take more so I almost died because they didnt put a rest spot after the 5th stance boss. Some people will probably love it idk i havent even looked at the skills yet but way too slow for me.
