Man, I just don’t give two fricks about Cere. She’s part of the main cast and has been since the beginning but I don’t know if it’s the writing, the actress or what but i just don’t empathize with her story at all. She’s more annoying than anything else

It's because she looks like a cricket

Rancor ended up being easy. Parry, dash, and double bladed gets it done. You just have to miss the grab that is one and done. I initially thought I couldn't parry him but once I did and stayed close and hurricaned it

I didn’t like Cere in the first game. The first game is more or less all about Cal where everyone rotates around him. The second one is almost the opposite of that makes any sense. Cal can be considered in one way as mirroring a journey Cere has taken herself already in game 2. I can’t really say more about spoilers but I finished the game liking all of the secondary main cast a lot more.

His parry timings are incredibly tight. I consider myself damn good at this game and it took me a while to get them down consistently on Jedi master and I still can’t do it on grandmaster. Go to force tear that has you fighting 2 rancors at once and see if it’s easy

May be an unpopular opinion, but I think this game (and franchise) would be better served if you weren't constantly ping-ponging around the same 3 planets. I'd be perfectly fine with the planets themselves being smaller if it meant that you weren't constantly backtracking.
It makes the story feel really small scale.

Would be some cool DLC to have other planets and stories. Kinda like what Borderlands does with their shite.
Mass effect spoiled a lot of people
DLC with this franchise could help shape the overall story. I like BD1, Merrin and Greez better than anything in the sequels or recent TV series.
Kinda wish the game was more open world like GTA or a Red Dead instead of tomb raider and arkam city. To be able to explore these worlds..you wouldnt even have to come up with new titles or etc. Just release a new planet as a followup to a main game (vice city to gta3).
Put real detail into these places and create story. Build new characters, bring light to lore..ibdont know. I'd love to explore Coruscant or find myself in the middle of nowhere on tatooine in the desert worrying about sand people at night and Jawa stealing my stuff.

Its my impression their goal for this game in a way was less so to innovate but more importantly expand and build upon the foundations of Fallen Order. If that was their intention id say they 100% did it. We basically have 2 bigger semi open world planets with side quest and story stuff and 4 story related locations. I hope they innovate for the final part of the trilogy.

They bring in Galen Marek as the final big bad for Cal

Cals power level is actually crazy high right now. This is the non spoiler thread though so we probs shouldnt speak about it here.

I'm not someone who replays games. Unless I'm forgetting something, I've replayed two other games in my entire life.
I've replayed the entire Mass Effect trilogy four times. As imperfect as it is, nothing else scratches that itch.

I think this thread has been mostly complete spoiler free only things shown in the trailers or new quality of life additions like the map, etc have been discussed. This is a game you def want to go into blind too though. The final 25% is by far the best part of the game.

Just picked this game up 2 days ago. Ive beaten Elden Ring and Souls games countless times and love them, however I find this one similar but a bit buggy. The parrying and blocking just isn’t efficient in my opinion and damn I hate pressing square for attacks. I tried changing controller settings but got blasted with unbounding too many buttons it was aids. Anyone else feel like it’s unnecessarily hard?
