Has this crazy shite ever happened to anyone else?
I was playing some TDM today and I kill a guy, then the screen glitches and I'm suddenly falling from the sky out of bounds. It wasn't like coming off a spawn beacon, it was like falling out of a jet. But there are no jets in TDM. What. The. shite.
I sat there speechless for about a minute after it happened just in shock.

yea, im not surprised. its never happened to me, but that kind of stuff isnt unheard of
just yesterday I was on a nice run and all of a sudden it was like I was strapped to a jet and thrown forward a couple hundred feet into a wall and killed. pretty frickin annoying

I pride myself on being a BF a-hole, but what I did to BirdMahn last night takes the cake. He was so happy that he had the helicopter and could deliver it to the other team, I did my duty and informed him how to keep it steady so we could get it from him.
I extended one hand and armed the other, he was so happy to fly in one spot until he noticed that someone was laser designating him. "Hey guys whats going on" he cried as the missile streaked through the air and struck him down. It was too late, we don't need a helicopter on the tunnel set of objectives.

Might get crowed in there with one heli and a tank already in there.
How do you hover with it? Bird and I were trying to do the second co-op mission and could not get it to hover
eta: I have my aircraft button layout with throttle and roll on the left stick and up and down and pitch on the right stick. Is it easier to hover on default?

Hovering is just a touch of throttle while keeping the sticks neutral. I use default and haven't changed, I hear the settings you have makes it easier in jets though.

Once I get used to it, I think it will be good. It seems natural to fly and control with the sticks as opposed to the triggers, but then again, I don't fly enough to know.
