Bunch of new stuff just spawned in my home lol . Evee, goldeen, venonat.
So you can only get stardust and candy's from catching..not paying $$ directly right. That's good.
Altho I guess if you bought a lot of incense you would level quicker.

Am I supposed to catch repeats? Does that grow my level or just waste balls?

Catch the repeats if you wish to evolve one. Keep one and transfer the rest to the professor for a candy.

Ahh nice. Didn't know about the transfer.

Each one i catch i compare to the one ive got on my team. Which ever is weaker i transfer.

Nintendo is going to make a killing off this game with microtransactions...
Oh and plus you get XP for "good throws"..think I saw 'curve ball' for one I tossed?

yea seems the stock market saw the same thing
the way they handle this game in the mobile market could give us an idea of how they handle the NX as well.

I just read all 14 pages and it was well worth it 
I love this game. Besides the servers, the only complaint I have about the game is if u live in the middle of nowhere like me, there's no Pokemon, pokestops, or gyms anywhere around. I've got like 7 right now bc of it but it's still a lot of fun. If they can fix the servers this game may win the App of the Year or some kind of award.

I work on a boat in the Mississippi River, do you think I will catch exclusively water Pokemon? Also, it's a small boat and stationary most of the time

From what I've heard, it's possible u will catch water Pokemon. Also, not sure how close u are to buildings or monuments/statues but if u pass any, check and make sure they aren't pokestops

Cool I found a 401 scyther. got wrecked at a gym though. First fight was a failure. There's so many pidgeys at my house that I was able to evolve to a pidgeot after downloading last night...

I started with a charmander (Charizard, baby) and I've caught 4 bulbasaurs, but no charmanders. I've also caught 4 clefairies.
Other than that, I'm just constructing an army of pidgeots. Game is great so far though... just sucks that I live in the middle of nowhere.

Apparently you can get pikachu at the start by just walking away from the 3 without catching one. A pikachu will show up.

I have never played a Pokemon game, but yeah I downloaded this to see what the fuss is about. This is all Greek to me, but kind of cool.
This worked but took a bit. The original three keep spawning over and over again as they move off screen, then suddenly he appeared in the group with them.

Took the fight but after I beat weedle, a way stronger pinsir appeared ?!
