I've never played Soul Silver or Heart Gold.
The only pokemon games I've played are:

Yellow
Pinball
Trading Card Game

I still haven't given up on Go, I'm still grinding Magikarp, if I evolve it and my Gyarados has twister that may be the final straw

Just when i was about to give up.... Haven't played in a couple of days.
Decided to open the app right now at my desk...and BOOM 1900cp Snorlax just chilling. One ultra ball and I got him.
Pretty cool. Although I know if it were a pidgey it probably would have busted out of at least 3 ultra balls before caught.

Anyone know if I evolve a CP 621 Oddish, who already knows Razor Leaf and Moon Blast, then will each of the next two evolutions keep the same move set?

I had a pretty successful trip to the Lakefront in Mandeville yesterday. Caught a CP1,748 Dragonite, evolved a Gyarados, caught CP1,592 Snorlax and caught enough Mankeys to evolve my first Primeape.

My snorlax has:
Lick 5
Hyper Beam 120
Is that really bad? 5 seems bad. Idk i don't ever battle gyms.

The last games I played religiously as a kid were Silver and Gold and Soul Silver and Heart Gold are both excellent games. I have them both on my 3DS (The games are not in 3D though)

It's not guaranteed. Move sets can change during evolution.

I havent played either of the updated gen 2 games, but crystal was easily my favorite. I might go look around to see if i can get a used copy of heartgold or soulsilver.

It's the gb4ios that won't download. But I'm trying on my iPad and not the phone. Wonder if that's why?

It was the iPad. Phone downloaded just fine.
Now, what version so I download? I owned the very first Pokemon game so I don't know frick all about anything outside of the original 150 Pokemon.

I've noticed today pretty much everything is taking 1 or 2 balls unless it's a pidgey, rattatta, carpie, or weedie then it's takes quite a few.
I guess they realized people were using these with lucky eggs to mass evolve and go up several levels at one time.

I downloaded the GBAios version and Fire Red. Now I want to use the cheat codes. I've tried using the codes I found online, but none have worked so far. Anyone know why they aren't working? Btw - I'm playing on an iPad.

Cause I never used cheats growing up and now I realize that by using them I can skip ahead of a bunch of bullshite.
