The ability to make "synthetics" fight for you-sabotage. That refers to geth and shite right? Pretty useless being as that I'm constantly fighting organics

yep. geths, mechs.
i was never a fan of infiltrator. i played a soldier.
tried a engineer out on hardcore for new game+ on me2, wasnt really a fan. i like shooting things and having lots of guns and special ammos, and adrenaline rush.
when i was entering a geth or mech heavy mission, id just bring a tech savvy squad mate along.

it would be worth it. assuming the game is 30-40ish hours to complete, why waste 2/3rds of that time playing a class you dont want?
start over, bump up the difficulty.. just my 2 cents. i dont know how many hours in you are though.
im sure eventually you will get to tech heavy areas and be glad you are an Inf., though. It usually balances out . a lot of organic heavy areas still keep a Mech or two around as a bodyguard (generally speaking, from me2 of course.)

Loving the game so far. Only downside is having to switch out disc 1 and disc 2 fairly often.

Looks like you have to purchase all the old dlc armors in shops in the game.

Sigh am I the only one that can't seem to download the patch, dlc etc quickly? Been a couple of hours and one of them is at 13% and the other bigger two haven't started.
Did play a few minutes of a throwaway creation. Loving how much smarter the ai is.

I probably shouldn't have picked vanguard.

Wouldn't bother me so much if they didn't put them in such lame places and if they didn't absolutely shred my health.
I've been stuck in this one spot forever because they plant a gun right over my head and I can't walk anywhere without being turned into swiss cheese.
