Reports emerge of Anthem bricking PS4s after crashes

What a fricking disaster this game is

I haven't had this problem. I heard about it on the Giantbomb review. It's gaining enough traction now though that I may stay off the game for awhile.
The amount of glitches and BS you have to wade through just to get to the fun shooting parts is massive. Every day I play I have at least one disconnect or glitched out mission. Can't count the number of times I'll try to activate a mission objective and/or revive a teammate yet the prompt never pops up.
Yesterday I got stuck in the results screen after completing a contract and had to restart the game. When I loaded the game back up, my pilot level was back to 1 and my Javelin was the default. Luckily it reset itself properly when I loaded into a game.

I love how Giantbeast cast called it a fake looking or made up game.
It really does look like one of those made up video games you see playing in the background of movies.

And sony wouldn't give me a refund. I'm going to try again now that there is evidence that it ruins consoles.

As you may know, Sony doesn't do this often. It actually has a pretty strict digital return policy that it very rarely bends on. In fact, the last time I can think of this happening was with No Man's Sky, which players were able to return on the premise of false advertising.

Does it brick them or ruin the image? Just stick in a thumb drive and reinstall the OS.

I love the game and am having a blast playing it with friends but the mission glitches are getting ridiculous. We tried to do the Tomb of Tarsis mission earlier and I got kicked right before the end (and it’s a pretty long mission) got none of my rare pick ups or exp. We just now tried to do it again and I froze on the first cut scene, re-joined and froze again, restarted the game and it has no sound and is laggy as frick. Just said frick it and turned it off
