So have that 4th spot reserved for your buddy that you're on the mic with or whatever. Get that person to start matchmaking and send him the invite to the group right after he does. When he starts loading in(about 60%) kick him from the group. He should show up at the mission start by himself(not actually in your group), then he can start his own matchmaking to find more people.

I hit DZ level 50 and crafted a high end chest.
Am happy with the first roll. Not gonna use too much division tech recrafting. Am now at the armor cap when in cover.
You can use regular credits to recalibrate purple lvl 31s to your liking. I didn't realize that until the other night.

I'll give you some advice that I wish I knew while leveling.
You level so fast that making sure you have good gear at 19 is wasted time. 1-2 main missions and a few side missions and that great gear you found will be replaced by random items you pick up.
If you want to DZ for fun? Knock yourself out, just IMO don't worry about gear til you hit lvl 30.

This for sure. I wasted some hours running DZ for no reason. Once I figured that out it's just been side missions and encounters.

I spent a ton of time in the dark zone before leveling up. I was over Dark zone 30 before lv 19.
Rushing to 30 is for sure the fastest way to push to getting to the end game, But I regret nothing.
Playing in the Darkzone at lower levels and actually enjoying the game worked for me. I had all purples at lv 19. It was pretty dumb how over powered I was to lv 15-19s

Oh, I had a great time in the DZ don't get me wrong but it just felt like I shouldn't have been wasting my time trying to extract gear when I should have been leveling up. I"m 25 now and trying to grind to 30 so I can jump back in the DZ.

I'm at 23 overall and like 19 in the DZ. If I am understanding correctly you are saying don't worry about trying to get better guns and gear right now and just worry about getting to level 30s?

Just picked up a solid protip from reddit for anyone thinking of going rogue or going rogue hunting.
EMP grenades disable a player's ability to use skills, including signature skills.
the ON FIRE status effect fricks people up bad too. I just remembered DMB sending in an Airburst seeker mine into a quarantined hallway that set like 3 rogues on fire and they were helpless
dragonbreath turret, airburst seeker mine, incendiary grenades apply ON FIRE

The mask talent that removes status effects when you use a health pack is basically required because of fire.
