eh, I just hate how certain game modes are tied to grinding for loot that gives you a specified amount of light.
Let me grind for hours for gear so I can play a raid where I.... grind for hours.
I'm just curious what sort of challenges are in store with that raid. the dozens of hours and thousands of deaths quote that I saw at IGN lead me to believe that this may be a touch above the thing you usually throw at a player base for a casual shooter.

The way it looked to me for the Vault of Light, regular players will never be able to do it.

I've been grinding ont he first moon mission at the "we've woken the hive" part. Do that over and over again. You get a lot of engrams, but not nearly as much as I saw in a video a guy did. The ground was completely covered.

I think the % goes up depending on Cryptarc level

The higher level you are, the greater % stuff drops? I'm level 7 right now.

Campaign/CO-OP has never really been my thing. I'm one of those weirdos that has never played campaign for halo,COD,BF just went straight into MP.

I think so, i'm getting that from this.
I don't know if it means like he'll sell you better, or its a better chance they'll drop.

That looks like he will sell you better stuff each day, but it won't hurt to get it higher

I know he gives you a package which has a chance for good gear when you level up.

My last level up with the cryptarch he gave me 2 legendary engrams that turned out to be blues. Have they come out and stated the % chance for blue/purple engrams to be legendary items yet?

Got 2 legendaries today. One after the other too. Got one out of a blue engram and then one out a legendary engram. I hadn't even sniffed a legendary before this haha. I had gotten about as many greens as blues from blue engrams until this morning.

Same thing. I find a legendary weapon and chest today....both blue.
I go up a cryptarch level and get a legendary...blue.
It is fricking dumb. I'm currently stuck because of this. I can't level higher than 24 until I get legendaries.
