It’s going to be my next purchase. I’ve tried for years and 10 different brands and shaft combinations, but I’ve yet to find a hybrid I feel comfortable with. I hit the 7 wood at a demo and I don’t know if it was the confidence, or knowing it wasn’t a hybrid, but it was on a string with a beautiful ball flight.
For woods I’ll go driver, strong 5 wood, 7 wood
For woods I’ll go driver, strong 5 wood, 7 wood

19.5° and the face is open.
My 7 wood is 24 degrees TM M2.
My 5 wood is 21 degrees.
Maybe my 5 wood is functionally a 7 wood, and my 7 wood is a 9 wood.
I know my 7 wood has a decent apex.
Lofts seem to get stronger every year.

Like I care what tour pros are doing. When MHD puts one in play I’ll consider it

My 7w weirds me out in regards to my stance and ball placement. It's a wood but the shaft is like an iron. So I'm not sure where to put the ball and how wide to have my stance.

Just outside of the middle of my stance works best for me with the 7 wood.

I play a 3 and a 5. I couldn't hit a hybrid without hooking it so I went back to a 5 and am much more consistent.

Made that move long ago. Now have hybrids from 6 on down.
