Not even close either. I do think Rory will surpass Phil when’s all said and done. He is only behind by one major and 15 tour wins.

Lol, nothing wrong with Phil. Arguably a top 5 player of all time.

Not even close either.
He will need more majors though for sure to get there

I'm actually reading a book called The Golf 100 that just came out. It ranks the top 100 golfers of all time and has 5 minute chapters on each. Phil was 17. It's not the end all be all of opinions, but I thought it was interesting.

Jack
Tiger
Watson
Player
Hogan
Jones
Hagan
Snead
Palmer
Are firmly ahead of Rory at this point. He still has time to climb the list though.

Phil all-time is in the Faldo/Trevino territory. I don't think there's any real argument to put him in the top 5 all-time.

I think Rory at least has an argument over multiple non career grand slam winners on your list. Holding all 4 is worth ALOT
I’m not saying your list is wrong or even I disagree, but holding all 4 majors puts Rory in the arena with Watson and Palmer etc
Phil isn’t in the arena

Nah, not yet. I agree it bumps him up over guys with more majors than him but not those two. Palmer has double the amount of PGA Tour wins than Rory and 4 Masters. Watson with double Rory's majors total and five Opens is quite a bit more impressive. Odds are Rory will pass Watson on PGA Tour wins but definitely not majors. Definitely won't come close to Tour wins as Arnold and safe to say not in majors.
I could be completely wrong on this but I personally don't see Rory playing on the senior tour, he's most likely going to be a competitive Tour player while he's at an age to qualify for it, but Watson and Palmer both had quite a few senior tour major wins that I personally count towards a career accomplishment. I kow most probably wouldn't but there's something to be said for the guys that still went out and grinded on the senior tour like Watson.

Name them.
I'm not some Rory fan boy, but Jesus Christ. You believe he's barely a top 10 player in world right now?

All time. Try to keep up

No, but he's closer than Mickleson.

Did something change with Phil few years ago or was he always like this? I always thought he was a fan favorite.
