I’m interested in hearing opinions on the Ping G (410 or 425) SFT series. If you game one did you notice much of a difference in shot dispersion or just keeping it in the fairway?

I just bought the 425 max fairway.. I did hit all 3 and to me the max gave me the most consistency overall.. I also hit every thing right to left(sometimes too far left) That said, everyone's got a different swing so if you can try them do so.. But I highly reccomend the G425s

I did the same today (3 wood). Tried to not be impulsive for once in my life by hitting it on two different occasions before buying it. Surprisingly I was so much more consistent with it compared to my Epic Max. Now I’m considering replacing my driver as well……

Yeah I know that feeling.. I've bought 3 new clubs in the past month that I really didn't need.. But.. You know... shite happens

Anyway, I was using the Cobra Radspeed 5w and 4H and switched them both for the Ping 425 3w and 3H.. I just feel like I hit them better and feel a bit more confident and it could be all in my head. Regardless I've played a few rounds with them and have been happy..

And yeah I'm seriously thinking of picking up the driver now..

Indeed it does.

And I feel like that’s all that matters.

I have the 425 LST driver and 425Max 5 wood. Both are easy to control for me. I went with the LST driver after testing all 3 versions in the fitting. I tended to hook the SFT too much

I have a G425 driver and it’s awesome. I keep the ball in the fairway most of the time and get pretty good distance (for me). If I get a compliment on my play, it’s usually my drives.

I agree, the G425 Driver is extremely accurate.

No SFT, but I have the LST in both driver & 3 wood.

Best couple of woods that I've owned in the last several years

I did 400 SFT for a bit. Switched to 410 LST and moved weight to heel. Fairway finder annnd long.

Need to kill spin if you’re slicing it, IMO. SFT just moves weight to heel. Go try LST.

425 was more forgiving for me but 10-15 shorter.

This model was probably the longest hitting 3 wood that Ping ever made.

It was a beast.

Thanks, I believe it should arrive tomorrow. I'll bump the thread with some thoughts after I hit it.
