My group has some intense shi+ talking but, I’m never really trying to get in anyone’s head. The best way to frustrate your competition is to hit the fairway and hit the green and get up and down when you don’t. Tiger Woods never had to say a single thing to any of his competitors. His play is the ultimate shi+ talker.

Golf is hard enough without people talking trash. The best is with you play with someone who is a douche and they hit a few bad shots. Don’t need to say anything just enjoy the embarrassment

Best way is to birdie every hole. I find that if I make 18 birdies my opponent generally looks defeated and I win.
Pro tip: it works if you only make 17 birdies too

This has to be a buddy you play with a lot but my favorite is when they hit a terrible put I'll say "other than speed and line that was a great putt."

In our game we give each other hell for fun.
After a bad opponent shot it’s: “ not bad for a man of your ability “ or “ every shot makes somebody happy and somebody sad”.
Now if they are really having a bad day we just shut up.

I try to play better than the other person. I’m not good enough to even jokingly talk shite without looking like an arse hole.

Nothing takes the sails out of an opponent more than draining putts.
