Good for the winner but to me golf is all about the big events, Majors and Ryder cup. LIV offers none of that
Korn Ferry isn’t real golf. Champions tour isn’t real golf. Presidents cup isn’t real golf. Olympics isn’t real golf. Brilliant.

And still going to merge with the PGA soon. Really has to bug you.

FS2 may actually be worse than being on CW
Checks out

The number is a bit tricky, however. FS2 is on in fewer homes across the United States than the CW, so viewership wasn't expected to be out of this world.

It was fricking Thursday at 10 in the morning. I was one of the 12,000, as I had it on in the background while working from home. I don't recall what was on Golf Channel at the time, but I assume it was the DP World Tour event that did not include people like Rahm, Bryson, Brooks, etc.
And I watched Meronk try to choke it away on Saturday before I switched to the Phoenix Open too.
Would I rather see Jon Rahm playing in Phoenix? You bet. But I'm a golf junkie and I'm going to watch whatever golf is being broadcast.

It’s a fact that FS2 has less availability in homes in US than the CW.
Acting like the number of viewers on that channel, on a Thursday, is some kind of “proof” that it has no popularity & has failed is just silly & premature.
The proving grounds for LIV viewership will be at LIV Miami on 4/4 & then the last 3 events in August going up against the Fed Ex Cup playoffs
I’ll be tuning in at 11pm this week for one of their best events though
Final round will actually be on FOX at 10pm Saturday night (should expect only 12,000 viewers?)

I'm fairly certain that Pride87 is Hunt Palmer based on how much rent free space LIV occupies in both of their heads.

Final round on Saturday got 54k on FS1

So this is probably accurate
Again I feel like you’ll get a better idea of how “popular” LIV is when they go to Miami in April.
I’m sure they’ll have more than 12k for their final round this weekend when they are on Fox, even if it’s at 10pm CT

The whole situation sucks. I hate that we don’t see Bryson, cam smith, Jon rahm, brooks Koepka and others competing against the PGA tour. Let’s hope they come together soon

The whole situation sucks because PGA are being a bunch of USAID receiving beta cucks.
Watch how quick they merge once the federal funding dries up.

Awfully emotional for this early in the morning.

YOURE NOT INCLUDING THE APP WHICH HAS AT LEAST DOZENS OF PEOPLE WATCHING
Posted on 2/12/25 at 10:36 am to Dawgsontop34
I found out this weekend that you have to pay to view in the app now
I know the app comment is always made in jest, but it’s obvious they have millions of other viewers outside of US.
During LIV Adelaide last year, they averaged 900k viewers/day in Australia on Seven Network
They just announced a partnership with ITV in the UK.
Clearly the “global” tour isn’t just banking on popularity in the US. I’m sure they’re aware that US viewers will always be more interested in watching the PGA Tour.

I don't think anyone will argue with the success of LIV Adelaide. It has and will do well. Australia is a great market. There will likely be plenty of posts early next week about the ratings and attendance this week.
I think that rather than that being a sign of the potential of LIV, it's a sign that Australia is a market that is underdeveloped, especially by the PGA Tour.

Yep. Rugby is also hugely popular in Australia. But it doesn’t work here. Hence, why they have many rugby tours there and don’t try much here .
LIv is popular in Australia, they need to maybe stay there and not have so many events here where people just don’t care

Yeah but we’re talking about Golf
It’s a global tour with 10+ of the best American golfers, of course they’re going to play in the US too. Majority of players live in US too
Thousands of fans in US will go to Miami, DC, Chicago, & Indianapolis… you know, places the PGA Tour doesn’t go to
Even the PGA Tournament in Detroit didn’t bring as many stars as LIV will

Pure blood going to melt for multiple reasons here
1. Rory is MAGA
2. Trump thinks LIV blows
