Brooks in the Netflix show changed my mind about him more than him going to LIV.

And Phil having a good round and they only show Tiger at +4. PGA and CBS are a bunch of pussies. Long live LIV.

Mickelson can still play. He has as many birdies as Koepka so far (or close to it) in this Masters. Phil can still get it out there and still has a fantastic short game. Sure he still shits the bed a few time a round, but he's always been that way. I think if he hadn't joined LIV and was still playing full time on the PGA tour, he's have a good chance to win another major.

Why would he have a better chance on Tour rather than LIV?

He'd play in more tournaments. Can the LIV players even play in the other majors? I thought they were all banned?

Only the PGA. British Open and US Open are not PGA events.

He’s play in just about the same amount of tournaments but why would that help him win majors? Perhaps less play and less possibility of injury would be a plus?

He can play in every major this year and if he closes this out he is exempt for all the majors for the next 5 years.

LIV isn’t banned from any major.

He played in 13 events in 2022, 29 in 2021.

I didn’t care for the way they portrayed him. Almost made it seem like he was a disgruntled, helpless bitch. Which maybe he was at the time, but thought they could’ve shown him in a little more positive light.

Yup and now he will play 16 this year.

Again less play does equal less competitive at a major.

I think LIV is good for the product of the sport of golf. For the consumer and for the athlete. It's just going to take some time to work itself out.

Golf needed a shakeup, remains to be seen if LIV exists 5 years from now but I do think the sport will be better off bc of the challenge they brought. A Ryder style tournament between the two tours would make for pretty good tv.

This is needed because the European Tour (DP World Tour) has become the minor league to the PGA. And since they don’t want LIV players in the Ryder Cup, the European team will absolutely suck. I’m talking like 20-8 bad.

Funny how Rory became anti-LIV after he didn't get the number he asked for from Norman.

I don't even think the PGA Championship is a tour event. It's put on by the PGA of America, not the PGA Tour. Two different operations. I believe the LIV guys that are qualified will be able to play in it as well.

Correct Koepka is in the PGA and is Phil and every other qualified LIV player.
