I don’t “hate” Phil. I actually thoroughly enjoy him as a golfer. I see him as what he is though. An extremely self centered extreme narcissist. I find it strange how it isn’t obvious to everyone. This latest episode made it clear to even those who can’t see through Baptist tv preachers

I thought Jim Nance was going to suck him off when interviewing him during the Genesis a few
weeks ago. Nance is a solid announcer and Tiger is the greatest golfer of his time. But goodness. It was one of the most awkward interviews I’ve seen. Nance was starring longingly at Woods and the inflection and tone of his voice was akin to something an obsessed psychopath would do to his kidnapped victim in a murder movie.
So yeah, lotta arse kissing for TW. Especially given his induction into the WGHOF.
But given his resume, records, and what he’s meant to golf, I understand the adulation.
Until it becomes weird like it was with Nance. Woof.
