Reed, Pat Perez, Kevin Na, and Hudson Swafford all coming back to the PGA tour is a net negative for the tour.

I'll admit to missing out on hate watching Reed. I like that he's coming back - everyone saying the Tour needs villains is right. Doesn't hurt that he still has his game.

Swafford and Na are whatever. They evoke no emotion, and I'd be surprised if either is a full member on the Tour in two years. Neither is in the top 500 in Datagolf right now and are well behind other LIV guys who are clearly past their prime in Kaymer, Westwood, McDowell, etc.

What a complete joke of a league. Imagine if LIV became the dominant tour like so many PGA Tour haters wanted.

The whole thing looks like a high schooler used AI to make it. Giving the commissioner the most prominent spot is an awful look

Pride will love this one - LIV is looking to sell minority stakes for some of their teams at a $300M valuation. LIV is doubling the prize money for their team competitions this year (goes from $5M to $10M to the winner)

For reference, some of the TGL teams (Boston Common Golf, LAGC, etc) are estimated at $75-90M

and what exactly leads to that valuation?

Think the Dutch did something similar with Tulips centuries ago, no?

Could you imagine buying the Cleeks for 300 million?

They are really trying to sell you the idea the Cleeks are worth roughly 10% the value of nfl teams

There is no fricking way

The hypocrisy of the LIV boys ripping the PGA tour equity estimates of $50-$80m taking this LIV team valuation stuff at face value is wild.

Let’s wait and see if any of them are actually sold at anything close to this valuation for starters. And then if they are let’s look at who the buyers are and how closely said buyer’s business is intertwined with Saudi Arabia and the PIF.

If any of them sell at anything close to that value it’s basically bc the buyer is trying to indirectly invest in receiving dividends from PIF. Everything LIV does financially is based on PIF funneling money to it at an exorbitant loss.
