So Tigerdroppings is allowing someone like you to use profanity on their site now.
Take your meds.

They wouldn't be owned by the Tour so literally none of this would be the concern of the Tour. Are you slow?
So these tournaments are going to magically appear, secure TV right, course locations, volunteers and on and on.
Sounds so simple, a angry guy like you should be able to put it together and get rich.
Good luck to your new venture.

You would want to water down those events because of which tour the players play on?
I won’t miss a single one of them outside of DJ. I can certainly live without him, and that gives new blood a chance to shine.

I love how everyone says except for DJ. He hasn’t done shite on the LIV tour. He is literally coasting into retirement. He is one of the ones I respect the most out there. He said he doesn’t want to play golf past 40.

Uhh, yes, and has been for two decades.

Maybe not, but that's not the Tour's problem. Your original premise was the Tour would have to do that which is why they said no. That makes no sense because the Tour wouldn't have been involved.
You are really, really bad at this

I was going to say the more that comes out the worse Phil looks. On paper it looks like LIV is more restrictive than the pga tour.
JK - but the requirement to only wear LIV logo wear, and that their hats must have the LIV logo is going to be a big issue in the courts because the PGA cannot allow a competing organization's symbols into their broadcast. Also, tournaments are put on by sponsors. If the sponsors' logos are overshadowed by players wearing LIV logo that probably is big no-no in their contracts.
It would be as if the NFL were allowing players to wear logos on their helmets for FIFA and not the NFL. THAT isn't going to be allowed. The PGA should not be forced to allow that.

One provision in the contract (5.3h) states that players must “wear and use only the appropriate Team Apparel and not display any badge, mark, logo, insignia, or trading name” without securing the proper approval.
But the contract does allow for “a single badge, mark, logo, insignia, or trading name of one third-party supplier of golf technical equipment on the right side of the Player’s hat or cap,” so long as the hat otherwise meets all LIV contractual obligations.

LIV players do in fact wear sponsor logo hats/shirts, not many, but some...
Also Koepka and DJ have had PGA sponsor ads on their(Fed EX) broadcasts....funny.

Pat Perez dropped out of the lawsuit. He is a stand up guy and I respect him for it.
“I have no ill feelings toward the PGA Tour or any of the players,’’ Perez said in a phone interview. “I’m a LIV guy 100 percent. I’m going to play for them. But I don’t feel any need to go after the PGA Tour. They gave me a wonderful opportunity for 21 years. I’ve got nothing against them, no hard feelings toward anybody. I earned everything I got out there, don’t get me wrong.
“I chose to leave and I’m not looking to come back. I’d like to maybe play the Champions Tour one day if that can work out and that’s why I have not given up my membership. But there is no benefit to doing this. I have an unbelievable deal with LIV and I’m behind them 100 percent.’’

Sounds like he's in a good spot. He hasnt been the subject of Tour mud slinging which is good.

Good on Perez.
And good on DJ from not joining the lawsuit.
Mickelson and Reed bad mouthed the Tour.
Hell will freeze over before the Tour allows them back.

Inside the Meeting: Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy Leading Effort to Create 18-Event PGA Tour Circuit With $20 Million Purses
According to two sources with knowledge of the players-only meeting earlier this week, PGA Tour players plan to make several bold suggestions to commissioner Jay Monahan.
The FirePit Collective also reported the 18-tournament concept as a “tour-within-a-tour’’ and the possibility that the PGA Tour, which is designated as a 501c-6, could renounce its non-profit status.
Among other ideas discussed was an annual stipend for players and whether the Tour should eventually have a conversation with LIV Golf, which launched in June and has signed several players to lucrative multi-year contracts.
