Adams Redline might be the best driver ever.
Speedline series kicked arse too.
Adams made great stuff, older model tightlies fairway woods were awesome.
Pure Nitro.

There have been 5 or 6 driver posted that I forgot I even had.
The Titleist 975 was the hot driver when I started playing. My parents had just gotten divorced and my mom was busting her arse working and I wanted one of those, but we couldn't afford it at the time. She still made sure I had a nice set though but I forget what I was using at the time.
I had a good buddy of mine that was super rich that I played with all the time and he had one. But he never beat me a single time, so I didn't need one

Is there a golfer alive that played in the late 90’s early 00’s DIDN’T own the Titleist 975D?
Seriously go find any golfer over the age of 40 and I bet they’ve got that thing in their garage

Bit of a similar story. Learned to play on Dad's Wilson Sam Sneeds.
Met my wife in college. She told me I'd get new sticks when I graduated. But I was starting grad school and we were poor.
She said I'd get new sticks when I finished my PhD, but we just had our first kid and we were poor.
She said I'd get new sticks when I landed my first job after my postdoc, but we had to move, she was in the job market, and we were poor.
She worked for a multinational. So I waited until she was overseas and bought a brand spanking new set of Calloway X22s and an FT9.
Then the kids started youth sports and I didn't play for something like 5 years.
Once I'm too old to hit it more than 250, I'll probably get to play.

great story
My first irons were straight-up Ping Eyes from my Dad. I had no choice but to game them all through high school. I even hit these through most of my time at LSU. They were ancient but pretty great clubs.
I hit these up until about 2002

Mizuno MX-500 was awesome. The sound the Carbon fiber top made took a little getting used to.

I don’t have a pic since I got rid of it, but I had a “great big brother”. Knockoff of the Great Big Bertha. Put it together with a used shaft at a friends golf shop when I worked there as a joke. Loved that thing! It was straight up knock off from China in the 90’s. I played it for at least 2 years.
