Did they announce Koepka’s replacement, if he can’t make it?
Stricker said they would deal with that if it happens. They expect him to play.

Give me Kisner as an alt shot partner anywhere on the planet. Just hit the green for him, and get ready to go to the next tee.

Kisner is 32nd in the PGA in SG putting. Also, in order to get a putter in Kisner's hand with any chance of making the putt, his partner will have had to hit an immaculate long iron because Kisner teed off and is 161st in driving.

English and Schauffele have been better putters this year, and Spieth is right behind Kisner at 33rd in putting.

He's 22nd in accuracy. Spieth is 184
Distance he 161 and Spieth is 67.

Give me Kisner again. It may not be long, but it'll be playable.

Also, Kisner is a baw and likes to get his round in. I would strangle Spieth as he agonized over his next shot for 10 minutes.

I feel like looking at stats is why the US hasn't necessarily been that great in these lately. I don't think there are any duds on this year's team (except Bryson but nothing you can do about him), but it seems like Kiz is universally loved on tour and would be a great teammate. Not to mention he definitely does better than most in match play.

I still like the team for the most part. Definitely not mad at Strick's picks.

He's 16-5-1 in the WGC Match Play and went 2-0-2 in his only Presidents Cup.

He doesn't suck.

Not so sure about English and Berger, both seem really streaky. Other than Burns and Kisner, I don't know who else has been consistent enough to warrant a spot. Na and Reed have personality conflicts with other team members, and although Horschel won the WGC Match Play, he's been all over the place.

Glad to see Spieth make it in. Burns has been playing some good golf lately as well.

If those idiots on foreplay were pushing for Kis then I wanted anyone but him.

Kisner is my dawg, but he is just not playing well right now. Na has a better case to make.

Based on recent performance, yeah. That is typically what picks are for. To pick those playing the best.

Talk about Reeds illness but he tied Scheffler at the tour championship. Reed deserved to make it.

Yeah, but he’s a head case. He would crack, no doubt.

Maybe, maybe not. The dude may be playing better than anyone on the planet right now. I personally think Burns or Billy Ho should have been there before Scottie.

I tried to listen to their podcasts but they are fricking awful. They get good guests, but listening to them reminds me of listening to vapid adolescents trying to sound intellectual.

Which guy will be the sacrificial lamb to Poulter this time? It is amazing how this guy keeps being the boogeyman for the US.
