It was nice seeing Tiger smile a good bit yesterday. He had a good round. Would be nice to see him win another one before he retires whenever that is.

It’s a Shell of itself. Hard to watch all those balls stick on those hilly greens. Very underwhelmed.

You really can’t understand how unbelievable that course is until you see it. I was there as a young teenager with my dad and we got to go for a practice round. Come the end of the day i could barely stand after walking that golf course. It is exhausting.
On a side note, I’m not sure how anyone could like Wies commentary. It is brutal to listen to. Maybe its because they aren’t next to each other or know when the other person is going to talk but she barely says anything and when she does it’s either as the other person is speaking or she provides nothing snd i mean absolutely nothing of relevance.

Wow. Really digging deep there. Someone made a good comparison. Shes the Booger of golf right now.
I mean, not everyone can do commentary. Some are natural, some are horrible, and some can get better. You could put Peyton Manning in front of the marble races on YouTube and he’d make it like Al Michaels call of the Miracle. They gave Justin Thomas a mic during the Match part II and he was fantastic, the highlight of telling Chuck that he’d “like to see your fatass dunk a basketball.”
A guy like Phil would probably be unbearable at the beginning and would likely spend the entire time telling you what he would do and how it would be better. That’s entertaining when he does it on course. But not in the booth.
