Ryder cup actually is a hit and giggle that the fans really love and bad players get up for it more than the true greats
I guess that’s copium for our US record the last 20 years.
I’d kind of like to win at BPB.

I don’t think that’s a coincidence

Often times, it appears, the actual great golfers don’t care as much as we would think

Would they ever dream of doing that for a major?
The two times I've seen the best golfer in the world cry was when he won a medal at the Olympics and after he lost a match at the Ryder Cup. Ridiculous to think they don't care as much.

That probably has a lot more to do with course setup than the US golfers suddenly giving a shite. Do you think they didn’t care when it was in Europe?
Kinda lost what point you’re trying to make. The Ryder cup is a totally different animal than a PGA tour event.

quote:considering alot of them didn’t take a free trip over to scout the course and almost all of them didn’t play an event for almost a full month leading up, no I don’t think the truly cared . Sure when they show up they want to win, but a pro that cares doesn’t prepare like that
