ya'll are blowing this way out of proportion.
He was just honest and obviously very disappointed.
Rory not talking to him and completely outplaying should end the story there anyway.

Rory not talking to him made him feel bad…neglected even. He couldn’t understand why he was being given the silent treatment. Got in his head obviously. Rory played his delicate feelings to perfection and crushed his normal routine.

I don't hate Bryson but always have thought he was kind of an annoying dweeb, Basically thought of him the same way Brooks Koepka did (prob still does, just maybe not publicly like he did before). Had nothing to do with the hat. I do think he's well intentioned and, from all appearances, is a good guy. His personality is just not my cup of tea.

TBH, I think Bryson took the deal not because of the money, maybe the only guy who joined LIV who didn't. I legit think he did it so he could build his social media resume, something he wasn't allowed to do on Tour. I think he really does want to build the game and wasn't just in it for a big pay day. Money just doesn't appear to motivate him. I think what motivates him is doing things outside the grain and figuring out different ways to make things better. I think the PGA limited him prior. Now that they are more open with a lot of the things he does, I could easily see him coming bac when his contract is up.

He wore it to honor his Childhood idol, Payne Stewart. I never saw it as goofy.
