Smaller tournaments, yes. I expect more fans as it moves along and especially tournaments in the US.

I have. I grew up going to the FedEx St Jude way before it became a big stop on tour. This crowd is much smaller than those. Maybe the groups of nobodies had a very small crowd, but not the better groups

Well, that's not really a fair comparison. One, this was the afternoon local time. Two, the entire field was on the course at once. So, it's not really like a morning. A better comparison is a Thursday/Friday afternoon, and even that isn't perfect.
Having said that, I don't care about the crowd. As long as there are enough to have a hint of an atmosphere, that's all I care about.

I honestly think he's just rooting for chaos for the entertainment value of it, as many others are
I don't know how anyone can look at what's going on and honestly say what's happening is good for the game of golf and the fans who watch it.

All the player interviews have been EXTREMELY scripted and forced, its a joke. All this bullshite about being a free agent and loving the team aspect. No one buys this shite.

yup. McDowell was really the only one who, in so many words, admitted it was all about the money. Everyone else danced around pointed questions, repeated themselves over and over again with bullshite platitudes, or flat out refused to comment on them. I was actually surprised at how much the media members tried to dig into them. They didn't hold back at all with their questions.

my favorite is "it was just the best decision for me and my family." every interview i saw this was repeated several times. i saw one article that stated they were all given extensive media training for this and it clearly shows

The best way to get positive press is to kick members of the press out. The other press members love seeing that and will respond very positively.
These idiots have no concept of a free press in the Western world. They're from a place where if the press doesn't say what you want you make them disappear. Not flying here.
