A life long friend of mine aced #7 at Greystone yesterday. We heard it hit the stick but wasn’t sure where it went after that. It slam dunked the hole! Awesome to witness. My boy was pumped!

Congrats to him. That one is my least favorite Par 3 out there. Always seems to play 1/2 - 1 club longer than it should. ( at least for me) Very undulated green. I celebrate pars on this hole

We had about a 15 mph wind in our face so we hit six irons. We’re 60 years old, don’t judge lol. It was 142 yards

Years ago I was playing in a Houston Oilers golf tournament. We were standing on a green watching a guy tee off with a 3 wood on a 200 yeard par 3.

He hit it so badly, the ball never got over 4 feet off the ground , it had so much top spin it rolled up the edge and flew over the bunker , hit the green and rolled into the hole.

The guy won 10 grand.

It always looks so gettable from the tee, but I have maybe hit that green twice, and going long is death. Short is also death with my bunker game

It doesn't matter if you make it yourself or someone else in the group makes it, a hole in one is an absolute blast and something you'll talk about for years.

My favorite one ever is still my ex brother in law and me were playing a par 3 course, I think I was 14 at the time so he'd have been 20, and on the 18th green he said "let's tee off with our putters." 110 yards.

I get up and hit a pretty nice shot, it almost held the green but rolled off the right side. He gets up and it is dead on the entire way, goes up the front of the elevated green and just drops right in with perfect speed. We went nuts.

Basically ran in the clubhouse all excited to tell the guy because back then (2000) you still got your name in the paper if you made a hole in one. Told him about it and he didn't believe us and walked off.

I'll never forget that. He passed away a few years ago. He taught me how to play the game

I know, cool story bro.

Great story! And you’re right. I was just as excited as my friend was. When we got out the cart at the green I started videoing just in case it was in the hole. The video is awesome

Awesome!

It's actually a load off when you get one. You don't ever have to worry about it again.

Mission accomplished.

Grats to your buddy. Fun stuff.

Doesn’t count.
