She was a favorite to medal for Tokyo 2021 and weed held her back. Gabby Thomas was around but not at the caliber of Sha'carri. Sha'carri also had a pretty bad 200 at trials and would've done well in this Olympic final this year. Both have a chance to be great teammates in the 4x100m final and get another gold together.
Gabby is certainly going to get more coverage solely because she has an individual Olympic gold, even though Sha'carri has a far more impressive resume on the track.
