What are the best all in one vitamins or supplements to support and boost immune system performance? Generally would like something that helps the immune system fight off illnesses before they begin if that makes sense. Thanks.

Vitamin D is critical for respiratory illnesses.

I came here to make this same thread actually.

I have had a rough year, flu, COVID, and a nice whopping 7 months of strep throat. Had tonsillectomy and all that, but it seems like every little thing the kids bring home is getting me and it hits hard.

I'm 38, I currently take no vitamin supplements, not even sure where to start. Also if there is something that helps out the kidneys I need that, seems like whenever I come down with something my kidney process slows down while my body fights it off no matter how hydrated I am.

I don’t take a multi, I cycle individual supplements. I know that makes it more difficult to be consistent. But I just never found the perfect multi.

I believe in keeping a strong gut, so I am daily with digestive enzymes and probiotics, and a high DHA Omega 3.

I take vit D with K-2. Best to get D from the sun but most of us don’t get enough daily sun exposure.

I take a sublingual b-12 lozenge. I cycle liposomal VitC.

Other things I think help with immunity that I cycle are Turkey tail mushroom, resveratrol, humic/fulvic acid minerals. There are so many others to research.

ETA: I only had Covid once and it was mild. No shots. I can’t remember the last time I had flu, cough, cold. Was before pandemic for sure.

Zinc, Quercetin and NAC (N-Acetyl-Cysteine) are great for anti-viral replication as well. Some would also argue in favor of elderberry

I take One A Day Adult Triple Immune Support, 1000mg Vitamin C, and 4,000 IU Vitamin D3.

The D3 was started back in 2019 because I was Vit D deficient (16 ng/mL), so Dr started with recommending 2,000 IU. She increased that to 5,000 IU because I was still under the recommended 30 ng/mL.

Started taking the One A Day & Vit C during COVID to help boost immune system.

Supplements seem to work and react differently per the individual. For instance high levels of vitamin c and vitamin d can encourage kidney stones in some people.

There are lots of immunity combinations you could try. One such that I felt helped at one time was Airborne.

But As someone else said, I find cycling various supplements helps me.

I take C, D, and zinc regularly.

But the biggest thing I did that assisted my immune system was quitting (or severely restricting) my drinking. Now I need to get my rest dialed-in.
