Yes I’ve read the very small studies with extremely mixed reviews about it.

Haven’t seen anyone post it helps with fitness, if so please refer me to that post.

Coming from the king of posting BS studies about supplements when hardly any at all are proven outside of some blogger or small study……ok

BS studies?? ok what ever you say

keep hitting the shrooms bro...thats all you. if it helps you more power to you, seriously i mean that

i seriously mean that. if hitting mushrooms multiple times a day keep one person from committing suicide then great. might not be something i understand, but when it comes to mental health and substance abuse i dont understand much so although i may make fun of you some....do your thing.

I appreciate it man. I just want people to know it’s an option, may not help at all but it did me and others I know. Skepticism is always good on anything though.

just so you understand where im coming from

1) my real mom is an addict and has been my whole life
2) she used while pregnant with me and through my whole childhood until she just up and left when i was in 6th grade

i have seen plenty through that time, so im always going to be against use of narcotics but if it makes you feel better i think those that choose to drink everyday are alcoholics.

so i come from a a background...thats lets say makes me quite skeptical.

but if it allows you to function and doesnt affect your health or relationships in your life...more power to you. Usually i have not witnessed that to be the case, but to be fair...i try to avoid people that are like that.

I completely respect everything you said. It is completely understandable for you to be skeptical. I appreciate your input and replies. I mean all that and I really do appreciate much of your input to this board, you give a lot of advice people pay good money for. I take your workout and fitness advice quite often

There’s tons of science to it. Don’t be ignorant. Do a Google scholarly search if you want and then read a Terrance McKenna book called plant of the gods. If you’re religious, listen to music, like art, use words to communicate then you owe it to mushrooms. We have evolved and expanded our consciousness from mushrooms. People started worshipping the moon right around the time humans migrated from mountains into plains and domesticated cattle. The mushrooms grew out of the dung on full moons and tada people worshipped the moon, saw things they couldn’t describe and invented new words to do so.

I’ve used mushrooms re recreationally and therapeutically, and also used ketamine therapeutically. I’ve done ayahuasca as well. There’s tons of documented evidence.

You truly are an insufferable douche at times. The guy is trying to have a genuine conversation with you and you just keep throwing back handed comments his way. You come across as a very insecure person and always seem to have the need to be the smartest person in the room. Just a very bad look for you Bro.

"Just lift all day and take a million supplements everyday and be a normal person. Sheesh. Show me the meta. I've done the research on every supplement out there and know more than anybody about fitness. If it isn't discussed in Men's Health it has no business being on the health/fitness board."

Let's just ignore that an obsession with lifting and supplements is an addiction.

is it really being an insufferable douche for not believing everything that good that happened in the world is because of mushrooms?

yea lifting 3 to 4 days a week is an addiction

come on man, i recommend a whole 2 supplements for most people over 35, pomegranate juice and nattokinase for general heart health

if you lift or are older, like 55+ i also suggest creatine for mental and physical benefits

sorry i dont think recreational use of mushrooms is some cool thing. Im good with saying it helps me blah blah blah but essentially saying everything good that has happened in man kind is because of mushrooms is off the rails

and what i recommend is anything but an obsession. if you really think that then you havent read anything i have really written. what i recommend is things a father of 3-4 kids can do to keep him self in top shape without spending a ton of time in the gym. its why i always recommend greyskull, kinobody, 531 for most people. if they are really into lifting then i suggest ppsa, meadows etc.

It's not about the mushrooms. It's your approach to anyone that disagrees with you or has a different take.

Yea I don’t get this…like how bad are peoples life’s that they have to live in constant high?

I suppose you don’t take any drugs of any kind for any reason, nor alcohol or caffeine.

It’s only weird because you associate it as recreational high.

We are constantly taking medication for all kinds of problems & don’t think too hard about what it is & what side effects it is causing and any potential long term issues it causes.
