What scar remedies or creams have you used with success.

Recent neck surgery. Parathyroid. It left me with a manageable scar. Just wondering what you guys have used.

Now I am alternating aquaphor and silicone bandages? Wondering what I can do better than aquaphor.

Vit E but has to be the Vit E gel caps.
Puncture hole with a razor blade and squeeze out the juice, rub onto scar.

This took away a scar on my leg left by a motorcycle exhaust pipe.

aquaphor

What did you think petroleum jelly was going to do?

Make sure you hit the area with suncreen even if you don't think you need it. The scar skin will burn more easily than the rest of your neck.

I had thyroid surgery in 2008. Can’t even see the scar. Hopefully your surgeon put your incision in a neck wrinkle like mine did. Give it time.

That’s not me, but I basically have the same scar from a parotidectomy. I tell me wife that to cover it up, I’m going to get a barbwire tattoo across my neck.

I've used Mederma in the past. It works on small scars when new.
