I have been taking Choq male vitality staq for about 6 months now. It took a good 45 days for them to really kick in.
Pre op told me to stop taking any supplements now before an arthroscopy in 6 days.
Google says this is just for possible anethesia interference.
Surgeon says the whole procezure only takes about 30 minutes, so Im not sure it's worth resetting myself.
Thoughts? Advice? TIA.

Did you use code: ButterDawg?
Not really sure about your surgery questions. I think you will be fine.
Serious question, for as much as that stuff costs, have you ever just considered TRT?

I’d think if all the things they tell you to stop taking before surgery were so dangerous, no one would survive emergency surgery. That being said, I’d follow the advice of the person putting me to sleep.

If it has turmeric then stop taking that before surgery. Can exacerbate bleeding post-op.

It doesn’t really matter how long you’re under anesthesia, you’re still under anesthesia and receiving the same drugs in doses high enough to make you unconscious but not dead. Drug-drug interactions are very real. Just stop taking the supplements or be honest and tell the anesthesiologist that you continued to take them

Other than the drug to drug interactions that are possible, most supplements aren’t truly studied by the FDA and therefore they don’t truly know how they will interact. I know you said you’re having an arthroscopic surgery but some supplants can interact with the clotting cascade and make bleeding times longer and that’s no bueno for surgeons.
