I'm 28 and have total test in the low 200s and free test in the 5s when not supplementing with extraneous testosterone.
My doc started me out at 50mg/week and I am currently up to 120mg/week. Recent labs put me at 537 total test and 20 free test. 120mg/wk puts most people at 800-900 total test, so I just so happen to be a very low responder. Despite my higher numbers, I haven't seen any reduction in symptoms. Doc said for me to stay at 120/wk for a few months and see if I improve, but I'm probably gonna bump it to 160 and see how it goes.
I do subq injections twice a week and they couldn't be easier. Took some tweaking to find a carrier oil that worked for me. The cyp I got for first round was suspended in cottonseed oil and that shite was horrible. Very itchy and irritating. I'm on Enanthate that's suspended in sesame oil now and it's super friendly to my body.

Thanks for all the feedback guys. I confirmed that they did order 100 mg once a month. I questioned them on that and the alternative they gave was 50 mg twice per month. Still pointless from what I gather. Going to do some more research and call around. May decide not to do it at all. Really appreciate all the info I get from here.
that's trash.

Would someone 46 with total levels 625 ng/dL and free levels 17.3 pg/mL consider TRT? Starting to feel old.

Chart from 1st page, you are technically above average for your age.

Lol yea you in like the 75th percentile. You are what I am at on 100mg a week
Posted on 1/7/22 at 8:47 am to lsu777
I guess that means I just need to get off my arse, drink less and get back in the gym

Crazy how much it can vary person to person. I was at 249 on my very first round of bloods (natty)
After 4 weeks of 50mg, my test went DOWN to 231
After 4 weeks of 80mg, my test went up to 286
After 4 weeks of 120mg, my test is 537.
Weird how it works. Anxious to see what 160 does

I asked my PCP to call in some needles for sub-q injections and he was not receptive. He said IM is more efficient and easier on the body. I pointed him to the studies that say otherwise.
I was at 200 mg a week when I was feeling the best I have in the last 15 years. Levels around 750. But that was a cash pay clinic. Pretty much black market as you pay a shite ton out of pocket.
Bottom line: Most don’t need TRT in this thread. And those that do are being underserved.

Man, thanks a ton. I’ve looked online several times but never found them. Just ordered a box.
I used to just go to one of the “anti-aging clinics” like I was a customer and got free needles. But they are all larger for IM.

I use 31g. Inject .22mL every other day. I warm the test with a hair dryer a little. Prevents little lumps and hurts less.

I'd say 90% of doctors are living in the stone age regarding TRT. 777 sent me a video of John Crisler explaining that he found subq afforded MORE efficient absorption than IM did. All these docs that went to med school 20 years ago are just behind the times.
When my doc prescribes me mine, he said that they don't even allow you to choose Subq injections as an option when writing the administration instructions. All they offer is IM

it's insane what those places charge, I'd love to find a doctor as a silent partner and open one. like 2500-3000 for a year of test LOL

Westend Supplies is a great source for needles and syringes as well. I use 27ga 1/2" and have no problems. Still easy enough to push oil while being convenient and pain-free

Gpz is another good place to get them

There are no known testosterone esters that maintain serum levels for an entire two weeks, much less an entire month. Your levels will be lower than you started at the end of two weeks (and in one month) because the synthetic testosterone will be gone and will also suppress your natural HPT axis from producing its own. I see this all the time
Once weekly at the least, but better at twice weekly.

Actually there is but it's not prescribed very often. Not even sure if it's available in the US.
