Life changing.

No side effects or health problems. Ive maintained the weight loss. Hovering around 200 now down from 250.

If I feel myself gaining weight or losing discipline, I just take an injection. But I probably take 3 or 4 a year now. Instead of one per week.

If I keep taking this once a week I would look like a skeleton. So for me, taking the whole dose every week isn't close to necessary.

I could take a half dose every other week and probably get into the 180-185 range if I wanted to.

This.

You can even go to Wegovy's website and read about its side effects:

quote:

What are the possible side effects of Wegovy®?
Wegovy® may cause serious side effects, including:

inflammation of your pancreas (pancreatitis). Stop using Wegovy® and call your healthcare provider right away if you have severe pain in your stomach area (abdomen) that will not go away, with or without nausea or vomiting. Sometimes you may feel the pain from your abdomen to your back
gallbladder problems. Wegovy® may cause gallbladder problems, including gallstones. Some gallstones may need surgery. Call your healthcare provider if you have symptoms, such as pain in your upper stomach (abdomen), fever, yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice), or clay-colored stools
increased risk of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia), especially those who also take medicines for diabetes such as insulin or sulfonylureas. This can be a serious side effect. Talk to your healthcare provider about how to recognize and treat low blood sugar and check your blood sugar before you start and while you take Wegovy®. Signs and symptoms of low blood sugar may include dizziness or light-headedness, blurred vision, anxiety, irritability or mood changes, sweating, slurred speech, hunger, confusion or drowsiness, shakiness, weakness, headache, fast heartbeat, or feeling jittery
dehydration leading to kidney problems. Diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting may cause a loss of fluids (dehydration), which may cause kidney problems. It is important for you to drink fluids to help reduce your chance of dehydration. Tell your healthcare provider right away if you have nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea that does not go away
severe stomach problems. Stomach problems, sometimes severe, have been reported in people who use Wegovy®. Tell your healthcare provider if you have stomach problems that are severe or will not go away

Best advice : Go Keto and use intermittent fasting.

You will be surprised at how great you will feel using intermittent fasting and eating a healthy clean diet.

There are tons of easy, tasty keto diets out there. Also, check out Dr Jason Fung's videos in YouTube.

There are NO shortcuts in life that are easy or healthy.

You can't play 'tricks' on your body and not expect to see consequences.

OK, put those 'health benefits' up. Yeah, a person will lose weight BUT at what cost?

I have said this about these miracle drugs that its not going to end up good for the millions of folks who are taking this stuff.

Tuck this in the back of your memory. 10 years from now, maybe even sooner, we are going to see tons of lawyer advertisements like 'If you were or someone you know has been injured by this drug, call 1-800.... you may be eligible for substantial compensation.'

BTW, there is already huge lawsuits brewing against Ozempic.

Yeah. There's a reason these drugs are so popular. For most people they work well and are easily tolerated.

LOl. Careful what you ask for---

Key Health Benefits of Wegovy
Cardiovascular Disease Protection: FDA-approved to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events (cardiovascular death, heart attack, and stroke) in adults with cardiovascular disease who are overweight or obese.

Significant Weight Loss: Clinical trials show consistent, sustained weight loss, with some studies showing reductions of over 17% of body weight over 68 weeks.

Improved Metabolic Markers: Wegovy reduces blood sugar levels (HbA1c), lowers blood pressure, and improves cholesterol levels.

Reduced Inflammation & Improved Heart Health: It reduces deep belly fat and fat around the heart, decreasing inflammation in the arteries and reducing the risk of heart failure symptoms.

Appetite Regulation: By mimicking a natural hormone (GLP-1), it slows stomach emptying and signals the brain to feel full, helping to reduce cravings and consumption of high-calorie foods.

Potential Additional Benefits: Ongoing research suggests potential benefits for liver health, kidney disease reduction, and management of PCOS symptoms.

Wegovy is intended to be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.

Because at 6'1" I look and feel better in the 195# range. 180-185# I look gaunt. My kids tell me I looked ike a cancer patient at that weight. So I backed off.

Just trying to provide a little encouragement. Nothing wrong with being tall, thin, and fit!
