What are considered "healthy" coffees?

I've heard the whole Bulletproof coffee bit about their coffee not having all the "toxins" that other coffees have. Is this just a marketing gimmick? And if it is legit, are there cheaper alternatives than that brand?

I love coffee.
Drinking coffee in moderation is neither dangerous nor unhealthy.
Just drink some good coffee.

I'm not sure what "toxins" they're talking about, but if you want to be super sure you can probably find a local roaster. Coffee is pretty simple, it's just roasted beans.

If you buy good beans, black coffee is literally just beans and water. Sounds like a gimmick to sell their own coffee, which I believe is fortified with stuff you don’t really need. Just buy good beans, grind fresh, and use good water.

Healthy coffee is black coffee, thankfully that's how I like it.

It's a gimmick. MCT oil is usually just coconut oil. I have heard people use butter in their coffee as part of a keto diet and they feel relatively fuller from it.

What exactly are you looking for? Are you trying to stop drinking as much coffee altogether?

The concept of bulletproof coffee is to smash you full of calories while eating paleo. "Healthy" coffee, is drinking it black in a manageable quantity. Not smashing coffee all day long.

Healthy coffee is black coffee.
If you are dieting I suggest the only thing you drink besides water would be black coffee or tea, nothing with sugar.
I dont think fatties know how much calories they drink.

Basically just buy nicer small batch beans if you want to avoid any issues. What Asprey, the bulletproof guy, was saying iirc is that a lot of cheap coffees produced in bulk are moldy and hence the toxins . A lot of his other claims are spurious but I think it just makes sense to get a better quality of bean than your average Starbucks cup.
Hes Not saying that black coffee is toxic and you have to drink butter coffee.

Black coffee is the healthiest. Everything else is a gimmick or borderline not coffee.

What "toxins" does coffee have?
Is this where they over-exaggerate an ingredient, protein, or product of roasting/brewing coffee that is "dangerous" in unhealthy quantities but normal ingestion of coffee has no impact?

fully filtered drip is healthy and then depends on if you add a bunch of crap or not.
unfiltered is not healthy, so like french press...not healthy.

I drink coffee with cream or half and half only, no sugar or artificial sweeteners.
Not black but oh well.

The other day, I bought some Ethiopian coffee beans from Rouses.
Man, that shite is extremely bitter and higher in acidity.
